You will not get your deposit back. Called second time and they made an excuse that "system has been having problems". First time, I called customer service lied that deposit was sent. We emailed first and they ignored emails. It has been over a month and we have not received our deposit of $ back. "This place needs to be sued! We stayed there from 3// to 3//. Save your self the hassle and inconvenience and find another place which is much more professional and understands what customer service means!!!" I have the booking agent as well as my credit card company involved and am hopeful I will be reimbursed. It has been a month and to date nothing has been refunded. They are professional thieves!!! Our reservation was cancelled three weeks before our stay noting an invalid credit card? Strange b/c they charged me the full amount 6 months ago and nothing was disputed which was confirmed w/ my bank!! You call the company and they give you five different stories. The most terrible thing is the employee will hang up the phone directly when they don’t want to talk with you! The worst experience in my whole life!" Let us spend more money to downtown everyday without any compensation. The employee selfishly changes our reservation to a difference location without any negotiation just 3 weeks before we arrive. They should be banned from booking sites. As you can see from all the reviews, I'm not the only one that has had problems with Lyx Suites. Don't stay here, they don't deserve anyone's business. Coupled with their lies that they were soooo sorry but did not come through just made the whole experience worse. If you book a place you should expect a clean space and having a towel with feces in the washer is unhealthy and not acceptable. We should have been compensated for their lack of care in taking care of the unit and providing a clean and healthy place to stay, a towel with feces on it is the complete opposite of this. I know they may respond to my review saying I was trying to get money back but I beg to differ. He simply disappeared and never heard back from him. The owner offered a 20% refund which we accepted but I've been texting him for two weeks. They are professional liars and con artists.
